Jim was a wonderful man - a true "character" of tremendous humor, quick wit, extraordinary common sense and true kindness. In years past he was active on HF and enjoyed participation in 10-10 particularly. As he grew older and more infirm, he became active primarily on 2 meters. He was great beloved by the hams of northeast Tennessee and he will be sorely missed. 73 to a dear friend.
Jim attended the Dayton Hamfest for so many years that a certain section of the seats in the arena became known as Mr. Clark's corner to our local bunch. Anytime we would refer to where we could be found or a place to meet inside we would say we would be in Mr. Clark's corner. Dayton will never be the same without you Jim.
