We have all lost a mentor, an antenna guru and a friend. Thanks OM for the guidance.
Rest in peace.
Really a very sad new.
His site is one of the more useful in the net for our hobby. Thousand of articles free for all who want to read and put in practice.
Last year he help me with an antenna project, clear and always available to help.
Rest in peace
Even though I didn't know Mr. Cebik personally, I feel as though I lost a good friend. Your gift of knowledge to your fellow hams will be your legacy. RIP
Goodbye LB. You are gone now but your outstanding contributions will live on and on for generations to come.
I will miss his technical discussions very much.
RIP L.B. you were a good friend and fellow ham who always had a upbeat helpful attitude both for ham radio, antennas and life in general. I feel sorry for those who never knew you or read your works.
I am sad to see all your work disapeard off the web as others cover it.
Life truly is short. Keep the light on for us. AR SK ..

LB was a wonderful help to all of us.
I remember emailing him a few times about questions and comments and he graciously and quickly answered me. I'm a nobody, really.
He didn't see it that way. He was interested in helping me. He'll be missed.
An icon for sure. Thanks so much LB ! 73
Lee had helped me several times thru the years with one project or another. I am grateful for the knowledge he passed on to me, and for the friendship he showed to me. I am a better operator for knowing him, and a better person and mentor to others due to his guidance.
I too was sad to see the news of L.B.'s passing. Whenever I had a question about antennas or radios he always seemed to be there, and gave helpful advice. I will miss him. I think we are all truly grateful for the time he so freely spent on anyone who sought him out - and especially for those that didn't. He was a model for us all.
I had purchased some antenna modeling analysis years ago from Mr.Cebik, I walked away with a very gentle, intelligent and humble man...Great fellow..And one of those Hams that great from a super era, hard work, intelligent, and humble.
Great man, sorry to see him pass on
L.B. was very generous with his time and knowledge. A ham of his stature must have had lots of hams emailing him for help with their antenna problems. He not only returned my emails and answered my individual questions, he did this promptly. L.B. also wrote about his novice experience on a website I run, the Novice Historical Society, www.NOVICE.bappy.com. Please read L.B. story and others, RIP L.B. 73s, Cliff, WW6CC
