Hank Marzina KB3FNM, 67, of Bethel Park PA, succumbed to his medical problems on March 4.
Hank was extremely active in the Wireless Association of South Hills N3SH, as not only one of our most enthusiastic members, but a man who always had a smile on his face and a big welcome for any new ham who walked in the door on a meeting night.
He was also a member of the South Hills Power Squadron, Library Sportsmen's Club, Camp Buckhorn, Pleasant Hills Rotary Club, the Greater Pittsburgh Aquarium Society, and Pittsburgh Area Killifish Association.
He leaves behind, in addition to all his friends and colleagues, his best friend of 46+ years, Mary Lou (Gigliotti) Marzina. He was proud father of Jeffry (Lora), Gregory (Janet) and Stephen (Barbara) Marzina. Beloved grandfather of Travis, Alexa, Elena, Emily, Eliza, Jacob, Madelyn and Nathan. Son of the late Henry Jr. and Veronica (Ruffing) Marzina.
Hank spent 21 years with BK Elliott Co. and Oce Industries leaving in 1981 to begin operating his own business, Precision Reproductions, retiring in 2007.
He was a longtime tropical fish enthusiast, keeping and propagating unusual and exotic fish.
Hank's infectious laugh and love of people will be missed by family and friends.
Friends received Saturday 6 - 9, Sunday 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 at PAUL HENNEY MEMORIAL CHAPEL, 5570 Library Rd., Bethel Park. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Joan of Arc Church on Monday 10:00 a.m.
