Boy sorry to hear about Rob. He was a person that would give and help all. I used to call and chat most every moring on 160 meters. Always had a good sense of humor and a laugh to match.

Northeastern Michigan has lost a great friend and an all around good guy in Rob Castonguay, N8GXI.
If you needed a hand, Rob was always there to help you, and as he said, he can fix anything but a broken heart-then he proceeded to do it!
We will all miss Rob.
Lots of us talked with him early in the morning before and during his runs, to help someone. He always left the air leaving you with a good feeling. He came over once to help me out. Some folks said I needed to have my well worked on, others said I needed a new pump, but Rob just said, “Sounds like rust in the pump valve”. Sure enough it was just some rust stuck in the pump valve, and he knew what he was doing!. Can you imagine what he saved me! Now I go down and clean out that valve as preventative maintenance. He is a man that would loan you a radio to help you out, and say, I’m not using it, you use it. As you read comments about this man – you will realize he was special to all, honest, and lots of humor. Gosh he is going to be missed.
I met Rob 20 years ago when we tested in Saginaw. Found out we lived close to each other. Rob was one of the good guys, always there to help and there wan't much that he couldn't fix. Rob will be missed!
