Mose was my Elmer and a Scout Master to the youth of Mitchell County. I first was introduced to Mose in 1948 by Rolan Ring W4OAT who let me watch him repair radios. I was intrested in ham radio from that time todate. Mose was a member of the Ga Ragchewers net and the Ga Crakers Net. He was wheelcair bound from about age 18.

Mose was a fixture on 3995 Kcs back in the 50's and 60's. I have several Qsl cards that Mose drew by hand.... he was a very talented cartoonist.
I remember my many conversations with Mose
back in the 50's. As I recall, he was
living in Pelham, Ga. A real enjoyable time.
Haven't talked to Mose in many years but
still remember him - especially out times
on Sunday afternoons on or about 3995.
73 and RIP Mose.

To anyone posting here I would like to find a picture of Mose W4FWP or Mose and his station. I remember visiting as a child and seeing his Globe Scout transmitter and National 5 tube receiver. Later he had a Globe King 500C and then a Heathkit HW-100.
Anything from Mose's ham days would be appreciated (QSLs etc).
Thanks and 73,
