Jack lived in Brewster, MA. He was an amateur radio operator since 1948, a member of the Society of Wireless Pioneers, Escort Carrier Sailors and Airmen Association and Telephone Pioneers of America and in the A-1 Operators Club. He was formerly KT2I ("Kilo Tango Two Italia," as he said) before returning to his original call sign. He could often be heard on 40m CW.
