I met Frank in the early 90s right after I obtained my license. Frank lived in Weirton, West Virginia. He was a generous, thoughtful and helpful man. In my early years of ham radio I had learned a lot from him. I remember spending hours over his house on a handful occasions talking about the hobby and life in general. He was often heard on the 2m repeaters traveling to/from his various kids' houses. I talked to him a lot in his travels back then. I lost touch with him over the years and just got news of his passing.
He loved his family and spoke of them often.
Frank will be missed.
