Harrison T.C. Hodge

Harrison T. C. Hodge, 97, of Freehold, formerly of New Milford, died Monday, May 23, 2011, at Applewood Estates, Freehold Township. Born in Tottenville, S.I., he was an Eagle Scout and played the drums in a scout band. Harrison was an controller for John Price Jones, N.Y.C. A World War II veteran, he served as a Navy seabee in the Pacific from 1943-1946. He enjoyed ham radio, woodworking, and radio controlled boats.
He is predeceased by his wife, Fern E. Stricklin, in 2007. Surviving are his sister, Nan E. Rodino of New Hampshire; daughter, Pamela Garver and her husband William of Blue Bell, Pa.; son, Douglas Hodge and his wife Joan of Milltown; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
