Milo will be sorely missed by those of us that spoke to him regularly as "the voice of southern Seward".

My wife was in the shack one night and heard Milo running the Motley Group. She asked me who it was on the radio and I told her, that it was Milo from "southern Seward." She remarked how he sounded like a real nice guy, and after that night she liked the fact that I was a ham.

She called it right, he was a real nice guy. Milo will be missed.

I stopped in Seward and had a chance to visit with Milo after talking to him for years on the Alaska nets. Meeting him was a highlight of my summer and I have kept in touch with him ever since. A very proficient radio operator and a dedicated ham radio advocate, he will be very much missed on the airwaves. Farewell Kilo Lima One Echo Mike.....Seward.....
