Friend : Bob Potts (WB3EOC)

I learned of Bob's passing of a massive heart attack last week from my friend Tom K3AIJ in Philadelphia. Bob was one of my early Elmers in radio...lived about a block away from where I grew up. Bob was one of the nicest guys I ever met. He was active in the Holmesburg Amateur Radio Club and was always around when someone needed help. Bob was very active on 2m FM and was always around for a good conversation.

One of my first exposures to HF was in Bob's shack. It was part of the reason for me going on and doing more and more things in radio over the years.

Bob will be sorely missed by all who knew him. His passing, like many, was very unexpected, and quite a surprise to all around him.

Rest in peace, OM. We miss you.

Question: Was this Bob Potts, a tall redhead, graduate of Upper Darby H. S. 1966, full of fun and good humour? If so, I fourth how great he was. That is the second redhead, I've known, with unique personality to kick early. RIP.
