Guy Reed was a wonderful person and good friend. He was older, and his age did effect his ability to a point, but he was a die hard DX'er and love to get a new one-. He had a pleasent slow draw from Texas and was at active with the Denver Radio Club and Mile High DX Association. His XYL, Millie, and him, were always a lot of fun to be around. Guy was a first class op and gentleman. He was always concerned about not upsetting his neighbors with his antennas. I think just getting an R7000 up in his backyard up in the hills was a relief in that he could be active yet keep the peace. He derserved a 100 foot tower and a big beam! He was active as a VE team member of the Denver Radio Club and a welcomed friend at the Mile High DX Association meetings and field day. Guy always had a habit of surprising me by being capable of doing a lot of more then he expected of himself. He always left the room making you feel better about your life- 73 Guy, CUAGN some day- Paul N0AH
