My pal Bob was a fine Radio Amateur, who cherished the history and lore of ham radio, and wrote about it extensively in Electric Radio Magazine. Bob was progressive, literate, and technically savvy. The latter resulted in extraordinarily restored Collins radio equipment at his station in Arizona. He also enjoyed my own love of classic British sports cars, and I would often see him cruising the back roads of Maine in his fine MG-TD. I will miss Bob, and I'm sure many other hams will, too. RIP my friend. Vy 73, AI2Q, Alex
