Gail ( Gay ) A. Wands (nee Lossner) born October 6th, 1945 passed away suddenly December 25th, 2013. She was born in Akron, Ohio and resided in Stow for many years. I was fortunate to have been invited to their home after a
ham radio gathering. Gay and Ted have installed a
wonderful Wurlitzer theatre pipe organ in their home and I
got to play for Gay. She was such a vibrant, lovely lady with
many interests. I was shocked beyond belief when one of her
ham radio club members gave me the news of her death just
two weeks after my visit to her home where we enjoyed a
joyus afternoon of conversation and theatre organ music.
Rest in peace, Gay.

Gay was a valued friend and ham radio colleague during my 20 years in Stow, OH. As active members of CFARC, you could always count on Gay and her husband Ted for any project or event that CFARC participated in. Their FD participation was always 100%. I am saddened to hear of Gay's passing, but I know she is actively organizing any ham radio events in Heaven. She may surpass just making a phone call from Heaven, and create some real DX pile ups signing WB8VNO/Heaven! 88, de Jeff K8CQ
