I had the pleasure of meeting Chubby not long after he got his ticket, I think it was in the late 90's. He was a fixture around the southwest Ohio and southeastern Indiana amateur radio community. I will always remember after I would give a long winded opinion about some topic, he would reply, "yeah". Chubby will terribly missed.

be home to say hi
He will dolly be miss in the area of
Cincinnati, Ohio
Chubby will be dearly missed for sure by many !! I first met him at our local club in the fall of 2011. Although he was blind, you would have never known it when chatting with him on the air. Needless to say, his hearing was extremely acute, nothing got past his ears and he also had a fantastic memory for details. He monitored all the local dispatchers so he always knew what was going on and was always happy to help out in any way he could.... 73 Chubby
