Not sure if the date is right or not- Carroll "Jack" Jackson was a true Ham's Ham and a great man. He was engineer on
the U.S.'s first nuclear powered ship, now anchored in Charleston Harbor at Patriot's Point. He stayed by his wife's side when she got alzheimers, then when she passed away, he moved to Arizona from South Carolina and passed away about one month later. Even though he was black, he inspired many hams of all races, and always was willing to share his vast knowledge. BCNU Jack!
