Gordon was a kind and generous man. For a time he had a ham radio trading and selling business. As a young man Gordon allowed me and K3UL (then WA3EUL) to trade up to better radios while accepting our very modest trades such as a DX-40. There are many stories and I hope others add to this.
RIP Gordon. You made this world and our hobby better places.

We just found out that Gordon W3GK died
on 12/11. He was a great guy and very
active in ham radio for decades. He
helped and elmered, bought and sold, was
a gentle bright force, and an FRCer.
We'll miss him.
I just learned of Gordon's passing tonight. I am deeply saddened by a true gentleman and fine human being. I bought much of my equipment from him because he was so honest and true to his word. His is a great loss to the ham community. RIP Gordon. God bless you. Alan, WA3ZKI
Sad to hear about the passing of Gordon. Remember the Ham Store he had and where I brought my first 2M FM radio (Drake TR22C) among other odds and ends over the years. If you had a question or just needed advice on a piece of gear he certainly went out of his way to help. A true honest gentleman and Real Ham. A great loss to our ranks. RIP Gordon. 73 de Bill WA3GLX (Now ZL3NB)
