My Dad was a ham for over 70 years. In
that time he mentored 100s of future
hams from his role as a teacher and as a
believer in the great benefits of
amateur radio. He was known for his
dedication to DXing, contesting, station
building and the art of CW operating.
He will be missed.
My Dad was the ultimate example of a
great Ham Radio Operator. He loved
DXing, Contesting, CW and talking with
his friends. Over 70 years as a Ham!
My Dad represented all the great things
that Ham Radio has to offer. First
licensed in 1946 as W6ANB he was a DXer,
Contester, Builder, Mentor, and Rag
Chewer. He will be missed.
