Rich was my first contact as a new novice in
January 1958. We were both 16 at the time. He
lived in east St. Louis IL I lived across the river in
St. Louis MO. Being somewhat close, we met,
and developed a lifetime friendship. A natural
match as were only children and learned
tolerance together. Over the years marriage,
careers, and moves separated us and we lost
track of each other. Reconnected 1993 and found
we had both worked for same telephone
company. From then on until his death in 2015
we stayed in contact, visited as often as possible
and enjoyed talking about our youth and ham
radio.
Goodbye my brother, God bless you. I miss you.
