He was my first elmer, my first ham radio friend, I first visited him as a 11 year old boy who wanted to become a ham and he wasted no time in befriending me and welcoming me into his shack. His shack was a wonder to my young eyes, gear to the ceiling. However I was woke one night by the sound of a ambulance racing down my street.........my friend was gone. Just want to say thanks Mr. Hinde, I've been licensed 29 years now and a extra class, I love the hobby and I miss you.
