On Sunday 26 February 2023, the Manly-Warringah Radio Society (VK2MB) will be celebrating 100 years of Amateur Radio on Sydney’s Northern Beaches, Australia.
The first meeting of the Manly & District Radio Club took place at the Presbyterian Hall, Raglan Street, Manly on 26 February 1923, marking the start of organised Amateur Radio in the area.

The Special Event Station, VI100MB, will be active on the day and throughout 2023, to mark the centenary, alongside the BBQ and speeches from 1pm.
The Manly-Warringah Radio Society (MWRS) is an Amateur Radio enthusiast group serving the Northern Beaches and North Shore areas of Sydney, Australia. Operating under the call sign VK2MB the society boasts members from a wide range of backgrounds, with members ranging from retirees to school children.
