Enjoyable trouble free build  Time owned: 0 to 3 months
The cost to the USA comes to US $87 which includes postage and currency conversion fees and exchange rate.
The assembly is well thought out.
I would prefer working with surface mount components but I just wanted to build the kit and give it a try. The decoder is sensitive like the other poster mentioned but it does work.
For some reason, the website does not like internet explorer.
I had to use another browser so I could view and download the construction manual.

Great Kit and works well!  Time owned: 0 to 3 months
The Kit arrived swiftly and well packed. The parts are in separate bags as each stage is fitted and then tested. I like this method as it saves a lot of work if you have a problem. The PCB is superb quality and there is loads of space for components.Even a good quality speaker is included. Instructions are clear and easy to follow and just as easy to set up. Finished in a couple of evenings and switched on...Yep...worked first time. Excellent! Result? Nice simple DC receiver with good sensitivity and nice sounding audio. There is a AF width switch for SSB/CW and this is very effective. The Large LCD display is nice to view and shows the frequency display and CW which leads onto my next point... The icing on the cake is a CW decoder! Once the CW is carefully tuned and the RF/AF gain adjusted this does a pretty good job at decoding (Unlike some!). Seems Kanga have a winner here as its a most enjoyable kit to build and to use. Its also nice to have a genuinely useful receiver after the construction.
Also because of the way it is laid out I would think that this kit is suitable for all levels of constructor from beginner to expert.
