Excellent desk microphone  Time owned: more than 12 months
The YD 148 works on my Yaesu FT 101 ZD Mark III. He works very well but I recommend setting it in high impedance. The modulation is clear and rugged. It is a real pity that they no longer produce it. I recommend it to everybody.

Classic Golf Ball Gooseneck Mike  Time owned: 6 to 12 months
I was given this mike along with a really nice FT-101Z recently. I will do the honours of being the first to review this very classic Gooseneck Golf Ball sized desk Mike for Vintage 4 Pin Yaesu Hybirds and their Vintage Solid State FT-301D & fantastic little FT-7. I guess these Mikes are scarce these days. Yaesu only made them for a few years. They were the optional Desk Mike for the Class act FT-101Z(D) series. I get really great reports with this Mike and it makes my fun little 10 watt FT-7 QRP rig be heard. I hope this brings a great little Desk Mike that Yaesu made come to light.
