Agreed!  Time owned: more than 12 months
The previous review is correct. Using a pair for each side of the balanced pair gives better common-mode rejection. The stranding is extremely fine, making termination a bit tedious, but it's well worth the trouble.

The favorite thing about it in the radio station shop where I worked is the jacket. It's very smooth, which makes coiling and pulling easy.

Quality, Low Noise Cable  Time owned: 0 to 3 months
This is quality stuff for XLR style balanced audio applications. The cable is composed of 2 twisted pairs which are in turn twisted about each other and covered by a braided shield and the usual insulation. My friends in the broadcast industry rave about this cable's ability to reject noise when used in balanced applications. You need to install good quality XLRs such as those manufactured by Neutrik. Pricing is all over the map but I've found the best prices at Markerteck.
