Inexpensive but superb quality  Time owned: 3 to 6 months
The Modmic is easy to use. The mic itself has a magnetic attachment that tethers to a small nub, which you stick onto your favorite cans. Antlion ships the Modmic with two nubs so you can use more than one set of headphones, or you can stick the second nub somewhere that you can dock your Modmic when not in use.

Build quality is excellent, and the Modmic arm is easily adjustable so you can get the best positioning.

I bought the ModMic to attach to Audio Technica headphones for use with my Expert Electronics MB1 transceiver. This was a change from a Heil ProSet 6 that I had for some time. The transmit audio quality is outstanding. With the uni-directional version, there is no pick-up of shack fan noise even if you have noisy fans for room cooling, amp, computer etc. The ModMic is a fraction of the cost of a Heil product.
