Heil PR28 Reviews: 1 Average rating: 5.0/5 MSRP: $149.00
Description: The Heil PR 28 microphone is made specifically for toms, and snare drums along with other percussion instruments like bongos, conga, timbale, djembes and more. However, the PR 28 is suitable for other uses as well where a wide frequency range and immaculate isolation is desired.

Punch, presence and articulation  Time owned: 0 to 3 months
I am using this mic with my Yaesu FTDX1200. Very little on-line indicating that this is a good mic for SSB. It is a great mic however! Just add a bit of EQ and the mic pops with articulation and cutting midrange. I like to close talk mics and this one loves it. It gets thicker as you get closer. Excellent for ragchew and bright enough for DX it meets all situations well. The fact that it is compact and light is a big plus. Love the audio from this mic.
