Holy smokes! It's DETAILED!  Time owned: 0 to 3 months
As a new ham, I'm overwhelmed (in a good way) with the info in this book. I am going to read the Fundamental Theory sections, build myself a dipole antenna, and leave the rest for reference. I had hoped for a section on operating practices, common customs and courtesies on various modes and bands (anyone have a suggestion for a book with this kind of info?). I can see why people call it THE reference book for amateur radio. Well organized and will be a valued reference book for this new ham.

Just be careful to not drop it on your foot!
