Needs Improvement  Time owned: 3 to 6 months
I have used the 1105 a great deal in the last 3 months. It seems to be well made but lacks in band selection. The little Eton E 100 cost half the amount of the Degen and covers all the bands. The Degens all have very poorly built antennas.I have yet to see one that is firm that looks like it will last for years. The 1105 does have 1000 places you can store stations which is very nice. The radio does recieve well off the antenna but the antenna is very poorly made. I wish that the 1105s could be purchased in the USA because the Degen radios have had problems.I like the 1105 but save your money and get a E100 for around 25.00 on Ebay.
