IC 7600  Time owned: more than 12 months
Mike was excellent. He responded very promptly to all requests. In addition he gave me things to try before I decided to send it to him for repair. Once the radio was received it was turned around in one day.
I would give him a A++ rating and believe me I don't do that very often.

Awesome! Fixed My IC-718 Remote Rig Control (CI-V) Failure  Time owned: more than 12 months
Excellent experience! I explained the issue I was having with my remote connection and he nailed it! He replaced the part that, I'm positive I somehow blew-up, and it's fixed! I followed his instructions and everything went as planned. Fast repair, fast turnaround, more than reasonable repair cost and he treated me respectfully even though I was the one that blew-up the thing! LOL.

Just a side note about the problem I had - the remote data port seems to be a "weak link" with ICOM legacy products. It forces the use of ICOM's multi connection serial interface which most people won't bother with and instead, they, we, I tried using a USB port adapter cable. I'm guessing the poor China quality probably "bit me" in the end, so to speak. However, if you look at the serial port circuitry, there appears to be no isolation between the dual transistor and the port connection. I'm not sure if the crappy USB adapter destroyed the transistor or was it ESD? Or...? Whatever the case, it's fixed.

Thank you Mike. I will certainly use you again and I will tell all my ham buddies.

Excellent Work  Time owned: more than 12 months
I have used Mike twice now. Once on a IC-706MKIIG
and now most recently on a display problem with
a IC-746.

The turn around is very quick and his repair cost
in my opinion very reasonable.

Mike only works on certain ICOM radios. I assume
this is why his turn around and repair cost are low.

I would recommend him

OMG! Fantastic!  Time owned: 0 to 3 months
I sent my Icom IC-R75 to Mike and got it back a week later. All works great!! Just like new.
Mike gave incredibly professional service and superior customer service. Speed, cost, & communications could not be better.
As a former business owner and now professor teaching new start up business and management, Mike is a perfect example of what I preach to my students and those small businesses I consult with.
Should I need radio service again, he will be #1 on my list.
Give Mike a call first!

Absolute Best!  Time owned: 0 to 3 months
I contacted Mike back in July when my IC-746PRO started having transmit issues. He replied right away and was able to give me a ballpark quote and what to expect. I let Mike know that I wouldn't be able to send the radio out for a couple of months and he said that was no problem.

A few months later, life got in the way and I had some car repairs and other things going on. Mike was patient and I sent out the radio. A few days later Mike received the rig and emailed me right away to know he received it and would start working on it the next day.

Mike gave me updates on the progress and even performed factory upgrades to the rig, fixed my CI-V port, and replaced the ATU connector because it had a broken tab on it.

Turn around time was very quick, about 3-4 days. Prices were more than reasonable and the the rig has been working great ever since.

If you have an Icom HF rig that is out of warranty take it to Mike. All around great guy!

Truly 5-Star Service  Time owned: more than 12 months
I selected Mike to service a very unusual problem in my ICOM PRO III. I had told him upfront that I didn't want to put much labor into repairing the rig, since it was now 11 years old. Several other people who advertise that they work on ICOM rigs didn't want to touch this one with the strange symptoms. All it took to repair was one small electrolytic cap and an adjustment. Mike serviced the rig in record time and it was back in my shack in exactly one week. He even performed some extra checks gratis. His attention to detail and fair labor rates means he will be servicing my ICOM rigs in the future. Thanks Mike!

Excellent work!  Time owned: more than 12 months
I had a power out issue (HF only) with my 706MkIIG and contacted Mike about it for possible repair.
He told me what it might be, so I sent him the rig and when he got it, apparently he correctly diagnosed it.
I authorized the repair and the bill (including return shipping) was a LOT less than I was expecting.
Radio works like a charm again and I've taken his suggestions as to how to prevent it from happening again.
Would recommend him to anyone.

Great again!  Time owned: more than 12 months
The CI-V port stopped working on my Icom 746PRO. I emailed Mike on Monday and explained the problem and he emailed right back and said to send it down and he would take a look at it.
Shipped it out Tuesday he received it Wed. Thursday morning he emailed that he would work on it and keep me informed, Thursday afternoon he told me what he had done and the radio was fixed and what the cost was and shipped it out that afternoon with a tracking number and I had my radio back Friday.
Everything works just great. If your Icom radio isn't working right Mike is the guy to fix it!
He has done work for me before and if I need something fixed again he will be the first call I make.
Go to his website and follow the instructions for shipping and communicating with him and you will have a good experience and your Icom will be fixed and it will be fixed right, fast, and at a very reasonable cost.

Wow!  Time owned: 0 to 3 months
I am remiss for not posting this earlier. I had the great fortune of asking Mike to fix my 746. I say this because he lived up to my expectations and then some.

I sent my rig to him and it was back in about a week. The cost of the repairs was very reasonable and my 746 is working flawlessly.

Communications between Mike and myself were perfect and prompt. I Heartily recommend Mike for any repairs to the equipment types he services.
