I have got this antenna about one month back. Has ordered it in one of the Moscow dealers under the catalogue. Very much I liked its appearance and the declared characteristics. I very much did not wish to perforate a roof of the car and have got in revenge with this antenna also magnetic fastening DIAMOND K707. But my new Magnet did not maintain this antenna for the speed of more than 60 miles. The magnet was diameter 3,94 inches. The antenna constantly broke from a luggage carrier, together with magnetic fastening. But I was not upset. I have changed magnetic fastening for bigger. This time I have taken a magnet in diameter of 6,30 inches. Has put the antenna with new fastening on a luggage carrier and about 80 miles were specially dispersed. All is normal - the antenna remained on the place. In general if you will put this antenna on magnetic fastening the magnet should be as much as possible the greater diameter because of the high wind loading created by the antenna. The declared characteristics have appeared quite good. 144/430/900 MHz (3,15/6,3/8,7 dB). But except for the declared three ranges on transfer, this antenna still is the broadband receiving antenna - 150/300/450/800 MHz. Having established it on a luggage carrier of the car, I have achieved the maximal range of communication on 144 with base station about 100 miles.
In general I liked this antenna.
