Performs better than you'd belive for its size.  Time owned: 0 to 3 months
Bought this antenna to use with a nearby (less than 100 meters away) Xband repeater, for the convenience of a small and tight HT with long reach. I thought this antenna would reach max 100 meters (300 feet), but boy was I surprised.
I live on the first floor of an appartment building in a valley, and attached this antenna to my HT (see image above), just to see if I could hear the local emergency services. It pulled in the signal nicely, full quieting. It didn't deflect the meter much, gave an s3 reading, but this emergency services repeater is miles away from here. With a 10" whip I get the same traffic at full meter, so that'd be much better, but for my purpouse of using it with a nearby xband repeater it is perfect.
