An Even Better Grounding & Bonding Find!!  Time owned: 0 to 3 months
Discovered this company's products from reading about their Ground Braid strap in Alan Applegate's (K0BG) mobile installation grounding and bonding tips. Thank's Alan!!

This grounding strap is more like a rope than a flat braid. It is actually comprised of several hundred tiny and very flexible wire filaments grouped into about 7 bundles. The material is handily manufactured and sold in 25' foot spools with sturdy 1/4" hole eyelets already installed every 4 inches. It's very easy to measure, cut, and install on your rig and other gear in the shack, and especially handy to use for vehicle antenna grounding and bonding.

I bought the version with the black PVC jacketing, but there are several colors available as well as clear and unjacketed. The 1/4" eyelets are great for affixing to antenna brackets, ground posts, bolts, screws, stubs, and the like.

I recommend it highly, and there's no minimum order so you can order one spool if that's all you need. I ordered a spool of this and a spool of their Ultrabond II flat braid, so I'd have plenty on hand for the mobile installation and grounding in the shack.

I found this to be the preferable material for connecting the vehicle's external HF antenna mount ground to the vehicle's chassis. It's very small and the black PVC jacketing blends in nicely with the vehicle's black body color and will prevent abrasion as compared to using ordinary non jacketed ground braid. It also appears to be the exact material included with some of High Sierra's Antenna packages, and also sold via their website, so if all you need is black and you don't need an entire spool, you can order it by the foot from Jim Heath at High Sierra as well!

Very 73,
