Reviews Summary for Yaesu FTM-10SE
Yaesu FTM-10SE Reviews: 1 Average rating: 2.0/5 MSRP: $480
Description: Ultra small size mobile transceiver.
Waterproof design for off road vehicles and motor cycles. The front panel is separated from the main unit. Microphone and PTT are installed on the front panel so you can transmit without connecting any microphone.
Product is not in production.

small, waterproof but poor quality  Time owned: 0 to 3 months
I bought the FTM-10SE for mobile usage in a small car. The rig looks small, rugged and nice.
The receiver works well, with good sensitivity it works even on small mobile antennas.
Unfortunately the quality of the transmitter is awful. The power output on 2m was only 7 watts, the manual specified it with 10 watts.
The sound quality of the built-in microphone is the worst I have ever heard. Maybe an external microphone would do a better job.
It has only one knob for channel selection and volume, you must press a button to switch between these functions. Thats too complicated for mobile usage.

I took it back to the dealer and got a refund.
