Great small Amp  Time owned: more than 12 months
I had one of these for years back in the early 90's. Exciters were many different 2M rigs such as HT's, Echo II's, IC-251A's Kenwood TS-700A's and my current FT-290 MKII . I tried all sorts of rigs/antenna's and could not blow it up! The GasFET worked very well. The RF switching was fine too although for contesting on SSB/CW it was nice to use the ptt wire. Now I have a Mirage (older one - brown) It puts out not much more power, the preamp is not as good and require a larger DC supply.

Nice little amp }:>)  Time owned: 0 to 3 months
I use the amp with a Kenwood TR-751A & it does a GREAT job on SSB & FM.The preamp works VERY well as well. They are pretty low priced when you can find one & can be found like mine with a small but nice to have OPTIONAL mounting bracket.NOT a BIG dog amoung amps but it will get you heard on the two meter band!
