Alright  Time owned: 0 to 3 months
I thought this HT antenna was nearly useless, but I gave it to someone who owns a handheld Marine VHF. We were out fishing, and I came to find out that the performance of this antenna is nearly good on both reception and transmissions.

With 2 watts, I spoke to another fisherman at least 7 to 10 miles away while he was putting out 25 watts.

I decided to take out my HT, and I hit our repeater at least 20 miles away on low power (.5 watt). I was impressed on what this thing can do.

Pros-Decent gain
Cons-Breaks easily. Be careful on handling this antenna

Notes-There is a little section on the side of the antenna that you use to determine how many sections to pull out on different frequencies. This is useful on 2 meters and 440.
