Great Audio  Time owned: 0 to 3 months
I got this a few weeks ago used and after a glitch with grounding, the mic works great..Have gotten consistently good audio reports with it.Am using it with an FT-897D running barefoot..

Excellent reports!  Time owned: 0 to 3 months
I have owned this mic for a few days. So far, almost every QSO has commented about my smooth audio. When I tested the mic on 40m local. My friend, who knows my voice in person, said it was like I was in his shack. I chose this mic for its response and it did not need phantom power. If I had already had a phantom power supply, I would have bought the AKG Perception 120 which has the same response of 20 Hz to 20 kHz. This mic will get too bassy if I am closer than two inches, but sounds perfect at 3-4 inches away.
