Update review  Time owned: 0 to 3 months
Further to the last one, I now just keep this single antenna in the car for HF work - it works great and good reports back. Best was 20m into the US Virgin Islands one night when /M @ 80W with a 44 report back. Others on 40 have been VK7 and JA, but no chance to punch through the pileups..:(

Make sure ur set up is well grounded and ferrites liberally spread, and enjoy urself. Cannot give enough praise.

Value for money antenna  Time owned: 0 to 3 months
Rang SRC on Tuesday afternoon (tea time)ordered antenna and delivery promised for Thursday, sure enough it turned up on Thursday,no problems with service>Been using antenna for last two weeks mobile, good contacts on 10,15,17,20 and 40mtrs throughout Europe. No problem in tuning with little LDG tuner on all bands,as for 80 mtrs, tunes up no problems. For the money i was impressed with the antenna mounted on a mag mount on my car,did all i wanted it to do for a mobile antenna.

SRC 8010 HF Mobile  Time owned: 0 to 3 months
Service not the best. None of my emails were ever answered or replied to. Many people in the trade warned me about this. Mobile never gets answered and took me three weeks to get a response from the landline. I ordered on a Monday and took delivery on Friday after being lied to about when my item was dispatched. The courier company confirmed they actually collected it 2 days later than Simon told me and plus it was only Economy service after being promised next day. Very poor service. Product works ok but not on 80m. Seems ok 14-21mhz

GOOD ALL ROUND  Time owned: 0 to 3 months
met simon a few times at the rallys over the last couple of years and found him a very helpfull man .. have used his end fed hf anttenas with good sucsees... i first saw the antenna at a rally late last year and was impreesed with what i heard with it on display on the stand . it has took simon a while to get it right .. 40m and above it flys worked vk .. vu.. ve .. 4x..some on 40 and some on 20 .. 17m ect with 100 watts from an alinco dx70 and a ldg auto tuner .. 80metres not that gud but expected.. with just a 1.9m whip ,,, its base loaded and has an impedence transformer built in the base so it can be tuned on all bands very easily with an atu... had it on the car for a week and all round very inpressed with its performance on 40 m and above ..had other plug and play hf antennas on my car and nono band hf whips and must say 40m and above it work as well as than any of the others ... with the bonus on not haveing to get out of the car to change the lead or whip ... will ad more over the next few months
