ok, but   Time owned: 0 to 3 months
I own a FT 1200, and a FT 450 D. I didn't like the idea of not having an automatic notch filter and the poor outdoor display on the FT 450D, so I bought the FT 891. I found the auto notch filter, and NB terrible on the FT 891. I was really disappointed. The display is great for outdoor use, along with the scope, but operational audio stinks. I went back to my FT 450D for portable operation and I am going to make that model work for me. I sold the FT 891, and no you do not get a little FT 1200 in a small box. While the FT 1200 can be made to distort the audio, it doesn't distort the audio as easily as the FT 891. I was really disappointed. Bad purchase for me.
Product is in production.
