Distortion  Time owned: 0 to 3 months
I lost the finals on my FT-891 within 24 hours of receiving my rig from the vendor. Factory service was very quick and responsive. The only antenna I used it on was a very stable HexBeam with low vswr.
I am not a fan of the display but...its an inexpensive radio, right?
Well, I think the menu system is a pain, but I have seen much worse.
Overall I like the radio a lot, But the Noise Blanker, the Digital Noise Reduction, Notch filter, etc. Well let's just say "very poor
implementation".
Distortion is the key word here.
I also own a Yaesu Ft-991A and it is not nearly as distorted, but neither of these radios are
quite as nice as my Yaesu FTDX-3000.
Product is in production.
