A Good Antenna Time Owned: more than 12 months.
I have had my DX-CC up since 1992 and have replaced the feedline once. This is a durable workhorse that have performed flawlessly since I have owned it. It was used as an attic antenna for approximately 3 months before it was moved outside. I currently getting ready to purchase a second one and move the one I have back into the attic as a stand-by.

Very impressive antenna Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
Just put up my Alpha-Delta DX-CC. Impressed is an understatement. From South Carolina and 100 watts, I worked Sicily and Greece back to back with 59 reports from both on 20 meters. Also worked two stations on 40 meters, one in Roswell, NM and the other in SD and both reported a 59+10 signal to them (without a tuner!). My transmitter is a Kenwood TS-50S and the Alpha Delta is up as an inverted V with the feedpoint at 30 feet. I've gotten equally good reports from 75 phone from around the state. The antenna is very broadbanded, and the SWR is exactly as advertised. You almost don't need a tuner with the antenna except on 75 phone and 10 meters. It's a very impressive antenna and well worth the price. The antenna comes from the factory set for the CW portion of 80 meters, but a call to Alpha Delta (who were extremely nice to deal with) and all I needed to do was to shorten each end by 12" and I was in the phone portion of the band. You don't even need to cut the wire, just shorten it through the end insulator and wrap it around itself in case you ever want to move it back into the CW portion. It even comes with nice nylon rope for the ends. I'd buy another in a second if anything happened to this one.

very well built antenna Time Owned: more than 12 months.
very heavy duty construction, i removed the surge protector from the feed point of mine as i sometimes load it in areas of high vswr. i have had mine up almost 3 years and it still looks good. the rope that came with it still very strong

Great Wire Antenna Time Owned: 3 to 6 months.
Bought 1 for my 5Land Home near Doskie Miss. Features include a static reducing surge protector built into the center insulator assembly. The antenna uses 2 loading coils to reduce the length on 80 meters, and 1/4 wave length radiators for 40-10 meters. I strung it between two trees to tune at 5 ft above ground using an MFJ-269 Anayzer, hiked it up to 60 feet in the two selected tall trees to hold it with no change in tuning. First three QSO's were Hawaii, Alaska, Japan all on 10 meters, all within 15 minutes. Works 80-10 without tuner, works WARC with a tuner. Will be back to use it in October 2000 with my new Extra Class License. It is a heavy duty antenna and with good 700 lb sun resistant nylon rope, it should stay up for a few years.

I have 2 other DX-EE antennas in my attic in Alpharetta Ga. (See Attic Antennas article here at EHAM.COM)
