Good for when it was published. Time Owned: more than 12 months.
This was my first book on ham radio, purchased sometime in 1995. It was geared toward the novice and the 'new' no-code tech exams. I learned a lot from it, even though I didn't take my exams until 2009. However, some times the material is explained in odd ways. Sometimes it is too brief, other times overly technical. I would still rate it very highly, definitely on par with the ARRL "Now You're Talking!" manuals. Much of the novice information was very helpful when studying for the General exam.
