Good quality/performance Time Owned: more than 12 months.
Picked one up at a local swap, programed in the
local 900 repeaters and has been left on at my base for quite a while now. Works/sounds great.
There is just "Something" about Motherola.

GREAT RADIO Time Owned: 6 to 12 months.
I picked up 2 of these radios. Type 3 versions. They are by far the best 900 radios for the 902/927 split, & need no VCO modification like the 900 Spectra. Absolutely GREAT radio. GARY N4KVE

Rock solid performance! Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
The MCS2000 mobiles are readily available used on eBay and via other sources. They are easy to convert for use on the 902 MHz ham band.
