A fantastic bargain for general RF testing. Time Owned: more than 12 months.
You may feel a modulation analyzer unnecessary and normally I would agree. But this does 3 main measurements: Frequency, Power, and Modulation in one box and simultaneously.

This is a great one instrument for all of these functions, most of the time I don't use any other instruments.

The power measurement is a bit limited, but with a couple of good attenuators you can measure most if not all you ever need. Most people have meters for high power and not low power. This low power one can be easily extended to the higher powers. It can also check the output of your RF generator!

You also get a modulation meter, great to see how much FM your sideband generator is producing or how much AM your new FM linear is making.

I paid around $300 for mine on ebay!
My frequency counter never gets used now.
