Tough Antennas Time Owned: more than 12 months.
Anyone who has built a bazooka antenna knows that the weak point is the center feedpoint. I have built many bazookas and have always had the same problem with the antenna pulling apart due to stress and stretch. I tried some 'commercial' bazookas, but they didn't perform much better and were made out of some pretty cheap materials. Frustrated, I bit the bullet, paid a bit more and purchased a couple of IAC bazookas (160M & 80M). Boy what a difference!! They are significantly tougher than anything I had purchased or made myself. The results on TX/RX were exactly as expected. I did have one problem though - my bazookas are suspended between three trees. In a recent storm a fourth tree - abt 65' - fell across one leg of four bazookas I had up (stacked). All four were destroyed. The interesting part is that while the non-IAC bazookas pulled apart at the usual weak spot, the center feed point, both IAC bazookas broke further down the coax leg. The IAC antennas didn't have any indication of pull apart or stretch at the center feed point which I find to be amazing. I just ordered several more IAC bazookas and hope no more trees fall down. The bottom line is you get what you pay for when it comes to bazookas and I did get what I paid for with the IAC bazookas.

Works as advertised Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
Works as advertised, I have a lower noise floor and get good reports. These antenna's are built like a brick wall, and I see no reason why this antenna will not last for many years, I did not chat with these folks as the antenna was shipped very promply and I had no questions, so I can't comment on customer service, other than they take pride in the construction of the antenna, which as I said is built to last

The double boozka antenna greatly improves the station. Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
A short time ago I have recieved two new antennas. These are call Double Bazooka antennas. They came from a antenna company called The International antenna companny. Their web site can be found at www.iacantennas.com Now I am using a Double bazooka on 75 and 40 meters. These two antennas are tied together as one antenna. They tune up very well on 20 and 10 meters also. I have seen a major change in my single reports. I also seam to have fixed my rfi in the house. I was having trouble with hearing my self in a couple of seakers hear in the shack. Also I was always activating a touch lamp up stairs. All of that has dissappared. So now I get much better single reports no matter where I am on the h.f. bands.

Good Performance Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
The IAC 80 meter Double Bazooka is a very well constructed antenna. Configured as an inverted "V," my antenna was easy to adjust for any portion of the 80M band by simply folding over equal lengths of the twin lead at each end. I installed my antenna with the apex at 58' and the ends at 18'. The SWR is 1.2 or better in the center of the voice portion of 75M. My IAC Double Bazooka is a Low Noise, Broad Banded antenna and I DON'T NEED MY TUNER for the entire General portion of the band. With a good tuner, the antenna can operate 10M--80M, but it is an EXCELLENT 80M ANTENNA. As for customer service, IAC is the best! They promptly returned calls and emails and answered any questions. (Dave & Jeanna made me feel like a valued customer) This kind of Customer Service is hard to find nowadays. I will soon be ordering a 40M & 20M because of the high-end quality & performance of my 80M Double Bazooka.

Great antenna! Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
I love my new IAC double bazooka! Fantastic quality in construction, strong materials, and I can cover virtually all the 75 meter band with very low swr! Goodbye tuner – no longer needed!

FB Antenna Time Owned: 6 to 12 months.
I've found that my 80 mtr version Dbl Bazooka is
a great addition to the antenna farm. Well const-
ructed and a good performer. Hopefully it will
yield me many years of service. Dave and Jeanna
are wonderful and a delight to deal with. I hope
to acquire the 160 Mtr version as well to add
to the mix. I don't think you will go wrong by
a decision to purchase an IAC.

amazing results Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
This is my first HF antenna, and I dont think I could have picked a better one for starters. First off I would like to say that the customer service was top notch, and they were easy to deal with. Secondly I dont have the antenna mounted anywhere near optimum. It is the middle of winter with a foot of snow on the ground and cold as hell, so I could not get it up in a tree very well. I managed to get the apex of the inverted "V" up about 18-20 feet off the ground and the legs extended out and off the ground about 6 ft. each. So I had very little expectations. Also I am at the bottom of a hill and surrounded by neighbors. I am in Des Moines IA. and I heard Tennessee, TX, IL, CO, and AL in the first night on 80 meters. I can tune 80-6M wiht a flat SWR on all bands at 100W. Radio is 746PRO. The model is the 80M shorty.

Very happy customer, thanks you

Great on 160 MTR Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
I bought the 160 MTR Double Bazooka as a replacement on 160-10 for my B&W BWD90 as I had gone high power and burned a hole through the Balun. Works super on 160 but is a disappointment on 80-10. I have it installed almost as recommended with center of INV VEE up 60' and one end is up 20'. At this time unable to get the other end up higher than 10' but is so good on 160 that I may not raise it. My plans are to replace my Lightning Bolt 5 Band Quad up 73' with a Force 12 C4XL with 40-10 coverage. After that I plan to buy the IAC 80 Double Bazooka. Would keep the B&W up just for comparison. One other comment--The Double Bazooka is as quiet as the B&W and both are way quieter than my 2XG5RV(208').

Quality & Service Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
Well here we go!
Of all the amateur equip I have bought over the last 25yrs this is the best experience I have ever had period!
I bought a shorty 80M DB ant I found out in my limited space I could actually get a reg 80M to fit, I talk to David & Joanna and they said no problem (I had the shorty for a month or so)they
sent me the reg one and I sent the (Used one)back.
I then bought the reg 40M DB Joanna made a mistake and sent me another 80M DB I called her and she said she sure did make a mistake...she went to the PO on Sat. and sent the correct one she took care of the return postage and all. The quality of these antennas are outstanding!!! by the way I have very good SWR on the 80m DB and the 40M has an SWR of at 7.088 to 7.300 It's flat 1.01-1......think I'm not a happy camper...hi
This is a Mom & Pop outfit and if you want a quality Double Bazooka Ant and the best service in the business ya can't beat (IAC).
Thank you David and Joanna!
