Superb!! Time Owned: more than 12 months.
Unlike N1EU, I like how the 234 makes my audio a little more "communications grade". It has some serious strength when using this processor. I have used it on many rigs over the years, and it has never failed to impress. It is currently making the finals work a little harder on an old Icom IC-765. I think I will have one for a loooooong time.

234 Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
This outboard processor has been replaced by the model 715, but occasionally comes up for sale on the used market. It was intended for use with the older Ten-Tec rigs that lacked a speech processor. The 234 works fairly well and provides quite a sophisticated RF processing circuit. My main issue is that the tonal balance heavily emphasizes the treble tones and it was impossible to align/adjust it for the neutral tonal balance I preferred.
