Once your getting serious in contesting you want the ability to switch between more and more antenna's. At one point we had so many switches it became hard to remember which switch switched what. Especially in the heat of a contest this became a problem.
During our search for a solution we found the SAC X system from 4O3A. We contacted Ranko to obtain additional information about the system before we decided to purchase it. Ranko was very helpful and took the time to answer all of our questions.
We already had 3 WX0B stack matched which we intended to use with the SAC X system. Ranko ensured us that this could be done with some minor modifications.
In addition of the SAC X system we also purchased 3 4O3A Power Splitter/Stack Matches.
When we installed the system we ran into some problems which had to do with the WX0B switches. We might have been able to overcome these problems but we decide to go for the easy solution and keep the WX0B switches as spares and purchased 3 more 403A Power Splitters. After we had installed the new Power Splitters the system worked without any problmes. Unfortunately we still were not able to use different antennas for transmitting and receiving. For this we had to build in some delays to provide the system to switch the antenna before the RF power comes on or off. With the help of Microham Micro Keyers we were able to do just that and we were able utilize all the capabilities of the system.

This system has very much simplified the switching of all our antennas. Even our guest operators find this system easy to use.

Ranko has been very helpful during the installation of the system and we could recommend this system to every one who wants to simplify there antenna switching.
