Great Antenna Reading! Time Owned: more than 12 months.
Kurt N. Sterba was the pen name (obviously) for the World Radio antenna columnist. For many, his column was the primary reason to buy World Radio. His three paperback "Aerials" volumes are gold mines of information to increase the understanding of all Amateur Radio antenna types. They are oriented toward the ham who is technically-interested but may not have an engineering degree or a career professional's background. In my view, the only impediment is the somewhat "cranky" writing style, which some may find cute but I find vaguely annoying. After reading these three volumes, I have greatly enhanced my understanding of antennas.
