HEXBEAM MARK III HD from SP7IDX Time Owned: 3 to 6 months.
I ordered HexBeam SP7IDX about 6 months ago. Due to constraints, I was not able to install it by now. However, COVID-19 and "Stay at Home" finally gave me the opportunity to finish the installation. The antenna is well designed and packed with all necessary parts for complete assembly. For me, as a single installer, to assemble it, it took about a day without a hard push. The only time consuming is the proper adjustment of the hooks that hold the wires although there is a template.
After assembly, it was installed on top of a 7-8m mast on the roof about 30m off the ground. The SWR is so low it is difficult to believe it. Now the antenna is going to be actively used/tested and additional review will be added once a good experience is collected.

2 antennas a lot of satisfaction Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
A week ago, I assembled the Hexabeem MarkIV antenna from Waldi SP7IDX, and because my amplifier had to go for review, I started working only with the FT DX 101D itself and to my surprise I managed to make the FT8 QSO with stations from almost all continents. Of course, not at the first call but succeeded. Reports from -5 to -21. The antenna complies with the recommendations. I can't wait for the amplifier. My second antenna is GP5-SP from a friend SP7GXP vertikal on the five lower 1.6 - 10 MHz bands also gives me a lot of satisfaction.

Much antenna for little money Time Owned: more than 12 months.
Early in 2018 I bought this Hex-beam plus SPID-rotator from Waldi. It works excellent with the tuning values given in the manual, both in low hight and up 23meters. All specs are correct in reality. Waldi is very fast in answering questions, even on sundays! I broke a plastic-clip when assembling, and got a replacement right away, without any costs. If you hear more and more good signals from Hex-beams on the band, here you have one reason!

Great antenna Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
I received the antenna (Hexbeam MARK IV) after 3 three months. It was really worth the wait. It is mounted on a 12 m mast. Amazing performance. For its size, it is a lightweight antenna that is easy to assemble, each element is described and there is no way to make mistakes when folding. Many thanks to Waldi SP7IDX for such a nice antenna. Very good email contact with the seller. I would highly recommend.

Great quality ideal 20m-6m compromise! Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
We have some Hexbeam used for E44CC expedition mounted at 5m on hotel top-roof @45m gnd !

Amazing resistance with heavy wind, great and easy quick assembly, light to package and travel with. Perfect swr matching on all bands, no need to adjust something. Baluns are nice quality .
Ordering the antennas was very quick and well shipping packaged.
So next expedition will also been with SP7IDX Hexbeam antennas for sure.

I recommend it!!! Time Owned: 6 to 12 months.
Welcome, I’ve had aerial for 8 months and I'm glad. Opinions about orientation are true. I changed from a vertical antenna and for 8 months I’ve done 3 dxcc. Mainly I work by emission cw. In respect of quality I can't say anything bad. Installation/ dismantlement is so quickfire and trouble-free. I recommend it!!!

Great antenna....well worth the wait! Time Owned: 3 to 6 months.
Waldi builds an excellent antenna. There is nothing second class about it. The packaging was excellent, all of the parts were there and labelled, and the construction of the antenna was very intuitive and easy. SWR on all of the bands is a minimum of 1:1 to a maximum of 1.5:1. During installation of the antenna, one of my helpers dropped a very heavy (200+ pound - it was for a honey do project) support pole on the antenna and one of the smaller spreader arm poles snapped, and broke the 20 meter wire. I e-mailed Waldi, and he had the replacement pole and wire here within 2 weeks (not bad considering it had to go through customs).
Due to HOA restrictions, the base of my antenna is only up 22 feet....bearing that in mind, the results are very impressive... I just worked VK9NK using ft8, and my other antenna (W5GI Mystery Antenna up about 30 feet) didn't even see his signal.
I should note that you will wait....mine took about 4 months....for the antenna to arrive (again customs plays a part in the delay). That being said, the price of the antenna is very much in line with the domestic hex beams I checked.

Get on the waiting list for one. Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
What can I say.. Collected this antenna from Waldi via his family whilst on short break to Poland, and transported back via hold luggage. Build quality and support is second to none, and easily put together with emailed instructions.
Mine is mounted on mast that is raised to around 30 feet.
straight from set up swr at 1.0-1.2 across all bands, truly plug and play. always been able to hear stateside on G5 but with this Hex can now work them.
Defiantly an antenna to consider if like me you are limited on space. I will be keeping this one for sure.

heavy duty quality - very long delivery time Time Owned: 6 to 12 months.
The hexbeam I am talking about is made by SP7IDX - quality is unbetable, but his answer and delivery times are terrible. Waldi delivered the HexBeam Mark III after 3 months, exactly one day before I started my vacation to "Langeoog" (Langeoog is one of the East Frisian Islands in northwest Germany), the beam was delivered well packed. Very last minute delivery HI !
After one and a half hours, the antenna was set up at the site. I used a Kenwood TS 480SAT with 100W output. The DX conditions were unfortunately very bad at that time - but some QSO to USA and South America on 20m were possible. Unfortunately, I did not have much time for further tests. Overall, the HExBeam Mark III makes a very stable impression. I will do some more tests on my next vacation.

Update: One of the best antennas I ever had!
