Great for Tower work Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
I had Tim remove and reinstall two stacked 6 meter beams on my tower. He had to remove the rotor and the two antennas. I fixed the antennas and Tim put them back on the tower. It was all done in about 4 hours. He worked very safety and in a very professional manner. I highly recommend Tim (KL7WV) doing tower work.

KL7WV Tower Services Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
I recently had the pleasure of helping Tim, KL7WV as ground crew on three tower and large antenna projects he recently completed in NC.

During my time in the Navy, as a ham and personal involvement in many coastal station, embassy and foreign military station projects I have yet to work with anyone as dedicated to safety and professional quality tower and antenna installation as Tim.

I would not hesitate to recommend Tim for any tower and antenna installation or repair project.

Expectations exceeded Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
I recently had my 90’ Rohn 45G tower erected and draped with several large and some small multi-element antennas by Tim Jellison of KL7WV Tower Service. Tim was recommended to me by a very close friend and I was not disappointed; in fact, my expectations were exceeded. Tim has been in the tower business for quite some time including considerable commercial tower ventures so he is experienced with just about anything you can throw his way. What I appreciated most is his total focus on safety, including his own; no free-climbing here, people. Any potential issues were discussed at length and compromise or decisions made jointly. Light rain did not affect him. He is truly a professional and genuinely just a nice guy and great conversationalist. I highly recommend him to anyone for any tower or ham radio venture. You will not be disappointed.

Great Job! Time Owned: N.A.
My Orion 2800 rotator at 90 feet was in need of a re-build. Also,my Tic-Gen at 45 feet with another KT36XA was stopped at 90 degrees.

Tim secured the top KT36XA and removed the 2800 so that it could be sent to M2 for the re-build.

Tim also confirmed my diagnosis of a bad potentiometer in the Tic Ring motor enclosure.

Tim returned after I received parts from Tic-Gen and the re-built Orion 2800 rotator. He quickly replaced the 2800 and went as far as soldering the new pot into the Tic-Gen motor enclosure.

I was impressed that Tim even took pictures of his work on the 2800 and the installation of a new control cable from the Wireman!

Super Job! Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
Had a sudden feed line failure on my 160 meter antenna at the 110 foot level of my tower. I knew that Tim was in the area on a couple of other jobs. He worked me in on a late afternoon, was quick to diagnose the problem, and more importantly performed the fix. Obviously Tim is a PRO with lots of experience. I could not recommend anyone more highly. I wound up performing ground crew duties at two of Tim's other jobs, and it was impressive to watch him at work.

EXTREMELY COMPETENT Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
Tim is a true professional Tower Climber. He had no trouble at all removing my 5 element 20 meter yagi and 3 element 40 meter yagi. Next another section of Rohn 45 was added to the tower and the JK2040-HAWK (40 foot boom, 180lbs) set in place at 105 feet.

Not only was this expertly done, previous work of others was corrected and set to a new standard.

Tim communicated frequently before and after the install, keeping me in the loop at all times. He emailed detailed pictures of his work on the tower and SWR sweeps of the JK2040-HAWK for both 20 and 40 meters.

I highly recommend Tim as a professional, capable of superior repair and tower work a genuine ham a man I can call a friend.

Great results on a large project Time Owned: 3 to 6 months.
Tim helped me for over a full week to get my AN Wireless HD60 tower up, build two antennas, install an M2 Orion rotor and associated cabling, install many, many UHF and N connectors on both Buryflex and 1/2" hardline and a few other miscellaneous activities.

It was a big project but he did a great job in getting my WV station on the air. Tim's pricing was very fair and he helped me get things quickly corrected when I ran into a problem, even working in light rain to get my station back on the air.
Tim had some great tricks that helped us get the 110 lb 30' boom M2 log periodic to the top of the tower without much effort (electric capstan winch) and was certainly comfortable working at the top of the tower.

I highly recommend Tim for all of the work listed in my review. You can see some pics of my install on qrz.com under my callsign, including Tim working at the top of the tower.

Highly Recommended Time Owned: more than 12 months.
During the past year or so, I have helped on several antenna projects where Tim did the tower work. I was quite impressed with his competence and thoroughness. Recently Tim came to my QTH to put up a repaired 40-2CD and a rebuilt KT34XA. I was very pleased with his work and I enjoyed working with him. Highly recommended.

Tim recently worked on my 100 and 70 foot towers. Time Owned: more than 12 months.
Tim painted my 100 and 70 foot towers and replaced the guy wires on the 100 footer. He did some incidental work while on both towers. He worked hard and safely. Highly recommended.

Outstanding Job Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
Tim recently completed antenna builds and tower installation at my new QTH. We worked together from inception to final installation, and his judgment and experience were impeccable.

During the planning process, he was very respectful of my wishes and was not hesitant to offer options and advice during this phase of the project.

We communicated frequently, making sure that all preliminary work (foundation, grounding, inventory of antenna parts, rotor testing, etc.) was completed prior to his arrival.

The installation process proceeded very smoothly and in a highly professional and safe manner. Work consisted of building two fairly large antennas, erection of free-standing tower and installation of rotor and all necessary feedlines.

I would highly recommend Tim for any tower installation or maintenance work.
