I just used the power supply in an RTTY contest, with no issues. The meters update at a very satisfactory rate, and they are large with high-contrast LED elements. The meters can easily be read from across a room.

As the meter values change, you can notice that the intensity of the individual elements fluctuates slightly. It is almost as if there is some component in the meter circuit that needs to be beefed up to prevent the voltage drop when more elements light up.

The fan on this unit is only slightly louder than the SS-30DV, which I have also used. That said, it is still very quiet, even under RTTY operation.

The variable voltage function is nice, but the knob is sensitive. Turn it slowly to select a specific voltage. The potentiometer has a detent in the top center, near 14V. That makes it almost impossible to select other voltages close to 14V. E.g., if you want exactly 13.8V, you probably can't do that, since the 13.8V point is close enough to the notch, that the knob will just slide in to place at 14V. They really need to use potentiometers that don't have this "feature".

There are no PowerPoles on this unit--just 1/4-inch posts on the rear. The big meter more than makes up for the missing PowerPoles.

The power supply held its voltage nicely under load. With 20A output, the voltage at the front-panel meter dropped less than 100mV.

So far, I have only operated 30m-10m with this supply attached to a 100W radio. That said, I have heard no RFI from the supply on those bands.
