Not bad at the price Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
Day 1. Looks like a twin band and will receive on 2 freqs at once but if the squelch is lifted on one side then it mutes the other, unless theres a menu I've missed. Display is er, pink, dark red or dark blue but large. 137/174 and 400/470 and will TX outside of ham bands so be careful, 40W vhf 15w UHF. Comes with USB and prog software that WORKED FIRST TIME! Cor! No internal speaker but fist mic has speaker in it and theres a 3.5mm jack on the back. Rx sensitivity is fine and FM bcst receiver works well. Scanning very basic and mutes RX-b. will go V/V V/U U/U. Wide/Narrow fm applies to RX and TX. Fist mic has illuminated keypad but these keys do nothing on receive, they are TX DTMF only. Theres a big birdie on 156.000 like the baofeng handie that is annoying. I was able to have a qso by programming offsets and CTCSS without the manual so thats not bad. 128 memories. loads of rx audio abd a proper on/off volume control. Its a keeper, one for the car.
